Arzepak
Designing trust in a fragmented
real estate market.
I designed Arzepak from scratch—a two-sided marketplace connecting verified property data with buyers,
while giving agents a complete business management platform.
My role:
UX Strategy, Design System, Two sided experience design, Usability Testing, Dev Handoffs
Pakistan's $200B real estate market has
two broken sides.
Buyer's Problem
- Data scattered across 50+ unregulated websites
- 78% spend 3+ months just gathering basic information
- No way to verify prices or trust listings
Agent’s problem:
- Managing properties across WhatsApp, Excel, and phone calls
- No way to track leads or measure marketing effectiveness
- No way to track leads or measure marketing effectiveness
Solving the buyer problem requires solving the agent
problem. You can't have trusted data without empowering
the people who create it.
I reframed the search around intent,
not the keywords.
The user problems i discovered
Keyword-based search returned results, but not relevance.
“Users typed locations or vague terms (“2 bed apartment”), then spent excessive time refining filters manually. 64% said search results felt “technically correct but not useful.”
My decision
Redesigned property search to prioritize intent signals
over raw keywords.
Built agent portal as a business tool, not just
a listing manager.
The agent problems i discovered
In research, agents told me:
"I manage 40 properties across WhatsApp, Excel, and memory"
"I can't tell if my Facebook ads are working or just burning money"
"When employees leave, they take client relationships with them"
Build a system for the agents
Don't build a simple "upload listings" form. Build a complete business management system that agents would pay for even without buyer traffic.
